Who likes trying new chocolate flavours? As many of you know, we have a Chocolate Tasters Club featuring 12 predominantly brand new chocolate flavours being sent out to Tasters Club members each month. These chocolates make for wonderful gifts or simply as a chocolatey indulgence enjoyed of an evening throughout the month. Once our Tasters Club members have delighted in trying the new flavours, we add a limited supply of each new chocolate to our chocolate cabinet here at Chocolate Fayre HQ. Now, the problem is that not all of you live in the Barnard Castle area, so tend to miss out on these new limited edition flavours. Some of you have asked us if we could add the new flavours to the website Choose Your Own section in order that you might enjoy them too. So we have!
Some of the most recently added chocolates include the White Lemon Praline (lemon flavoured white chocolate filled with smooth milk chocolate hazelnut praline), Walnut Coffee Cream (Milk chocolate shell filled with a whole walnut, set in a rich coffee flavoured caramel), Spiced Cranberry Bomb (Whole cranberry set in a white chocolate spiced ganache, enrobed in a deep red coloured dark chocolate shell), and Praline Crisp (Milk chocolate hazelnut praline decorated with feuilletine – baked crėpe flakes).
The intense yet delicate Passion Fruit Dome (Fine dark chocolate shell filled with sharp passion fruit cream, tempered by aromatic vanilla), Orange Marzipan Square (Milk chocolate enrobing a square of almond marzipan infused with zingy orange), Honey Crunch (Layers of liquid honey, a crunchy slice of caramelised hazelnut croquant and smooth hazelnut praline, all enrobed in milk chocolate), and Cassis & Star Anis (dark chocolate shell filled with a rich fruity gel of cassis, star anis and herbs) are another quartet of chocolate flavours added to the Choose Your Own section of our website.
Caramel & Coconut Truffle (milk chocolate caramel ganache inside a milk chocolate shell rolled in desiccated coconut), Dark Spiced Cube (Dark chocolate outer filled with a milk chocolate ganache flavoured with cinnamon, nutmeg & cardamom), Butterscotch Praline (Dark chocolate hazelnut praline mixed with butterscotch, and topped with crushed hazelnuts), and Hazelnut Caramel (Runny caramel in a white chocolate shell, topped with crushed hazelnuts) make up the next four new chocolates in the Choose Your Own range.
